Dear Veri-Family,
We are still feeling so grateful after our 40th Ann Jam last term, which was an incredible celebration of the Veritones legacy! Seeing generations of the Veri-Family come together, witnessing the growth of the group over the years, and hearing how those bonds have lasted through group chats, marriages, and lifelong friendships was so exciting and heartwarming. Our current group was reminded of just how lucky we are to be a part of this special community!
We are so thankful to the Veri-Family for your continued support, including the incredibly generous $7,000 donation through the Friends of Veritones fund and alumni connection network. We learned that Veritones co-founder Inger Dewey-Golob ’89 was a major supporter of both our grant and the Friends of Veritones’ endowment—what a beautiful full circle gesture. A special thank you to Sora, Oscar, and Judith, along with everyone else who helped build and support the Friends of Veritones initiative. We’re so excited about the opportunity it creates to stay connected across generations of Veritones!
As the current group, we are eager to keep in touch with our Veri-Family by sharing what we’re working on and learning more about your lives and experiences. With the help of Friends of Veritones, we hope to keep you all in the loop as much as possible and continue growing this community across generations.
On that note, we would love to see you at our upcoming Spring Jam on April 3rd with the Callbacks and the Pitches from 7:30–10:10 PM (we perform at 9:20!)—ticket link here! If you can’t make it in person, we’ll also be sharing a livestream link soon. We are also excited to be closing our set with a very special performance of ‘Vogue” inspired by Ann Jam!
In lieu of touring this year, we’re focusing on preserving and celebrating our tradition songs by mixing and producing recordings to post on YouTube and Spotify from our upcoming and past jams—projects we haven’t previously had the resources to complete. Your support is making this possible, and we’re incredibly thankful.
